Steel plate cutting:
The cutting of the steel plate is closely related to the drawing
design, workers' technique and cutting equipment.
Normally there are three types of cutting machines, you can see
from the pictures here.
Flame cutting is used for iron plates over 40mm thick.
While plasma cutting is for steel plate that in between
20-40mm.Effectively process metal thickness of 0.3mm or more
thermal processing(cutting, welding, brazing, hardening, painting,
etc.)
Laser cutting is for steel plate between 8-20mm.
It is great for cutting that requires high precision. For example,
cutting steel components for bumper, hood, and driver's cab. The
advantages of laser cutting are: low temperature, so the plate is
not likely deformed; the disadvantage is that it consumes a lot of
power.
When the steel sheet is uneven or the cutting speed is not steady,
a melting point or break-point will form; so during the cutting
process, workers need to go back and forth to check.
